What we did "about the flooding":

  Most people from Florence know our building is in a flood zone.  While it happens much less than often than in the past, we still wanted to make sure flood waters could not make it in the building. We worked closely with our contractor to ensure the building is sealed from any water penetration.  The 3 foot brick wrap-around is completely sealed, waterproofed, and has multiple layers of paint.  Flood barricades have been fitted to each doorway to seal the entire perimeter, and set up in minutes.  The barricades have inflatable borders that seal against the walls and floor.  We have evacuation procedures in place if flooding is eminent, but we will be able to operate as normal the following day!
